I founded io after reading Robert Anton Wilson. lluminatus Trilogy is a satire of konspiracy theories. RAW is kinda the human Internet in terms of eclectic knowledge. I found out later Robert Wilson edited Playboy. |

I started iO while traveling from Ohio into Louisiana and Louisiana into Ohio If someone says O-H in Columbus..streets permeate with I-O chants because of Ohio State Football since I can remember.. While at school in Louisiana there was southern rap, jazz, blues, zydego and Cajun vibrance… After starting iO, I knew I would return to Buckeye City + everyone would yell io’s name….even from a football stadium of 100,000 people. Later I realized Cinci friends weren’t experiencing these iO chants constantly. I kinda tried to envision the idea: writer painted graffiti in a desolate setting + traveled 90 minutes + everyone was loudly praising. Although some lived in Columbus + knew oh-io was part of Columbus..I found it fun to find anew… I assumed the contrast skateboarding, rap, punk rock, metal and graffiti culture —which are individualist activities seeped in our rejection of anything we hated about our society— with all of Columbus elating i-o would elicit an instant feeling of personhood amidst a spectacle which would transcend with the vibrance of knowing your city was excited about something. The entire area would elate i.o.’s name like fans while in unison with acoustics of the heavens + the floor underneath their vantage. DIY, political girlfriends usually were dissappointed in me for including Ohio State Football in my performance. FeministAnarchist ladies respected my vision of i-o after experiencing the world is my Ready Made. The ‘why would you want anything cool tainted with sports’ persisted until we went outside + our feelings layered with vegan food, dumpster diving, shooting io vandalism fotos during urban exploration, racking, hip hop + punk shows, record shopping and political music discussion were subtracting defeatist tendencies of Guy Debord’s existence but completely comprehending Debord’s message. | I don’t own a tv because I was socialized in Kill Your Television communities. I visit sports bars because it’s interesting sometimes. I like a room full of people excited about something as a community event. We are listening to my friends band’s late night performances because I usually watch from bars. People bustling with excitement is similar to the Holidaze’s Fervor. I don’t tell those working or drinking: ‘friends are playing Saturday Night Live’ unless I know the barkeeper which implies a familiarity with my life.. I like feeling reactions of people who are excited. I consider this community. |

| BSA Hip Hop replayed a portion of our Can’t Stop Won’t Stop show from 2021’s beginning. Kool Herc , Davy D, Cindy Campbell, Jeff Chang discuss origins of Hip Hop which are in Chang’s Book Can’t Stop Won’t Stop. -Kool Herc is the founder of Hip Hop. Herc deejayed the first Hip Hop Party @ 1520 Sedgewick Ave which was August 11, 1973 in Bronx, NY which is the beginning of Hip Hop. Herc relayed breaks which is a defining technique for this designation. Kool Herc was also a Bronx NY graffiti writer. Kool Herc wrote Can’t Stop Won’t Stop’s Introduction. -Herc’s sister Cindy Campbell promoted above 1520 Sedgewick Ave, August 11, 1973 event. -Davy D grew up in New York wanting to attend Kool Herc’s Parties. He became a revered Hip Hop journalist in Oakland, California. – Jeff Chang released a book called Can’t Stop Won’t Stop in 2005 about Hip Hop. Chang updated Can’t Stop Won’t Stop in 2021 to contextualize BLM. Jeff Chang is a respected Hip Hop Journalist who was part of DJ Shadow’s Quannum Hip Hop Community.
