| I don’t own a tv because I was socialized in Kill Your Television communities. I visit sports bars because it’s interesting sometimes. I like a room full of people excited about something as a community event. We are listening to my friends band’s late night performances because I usually watch from bars. People bustling with excitement is similar to the Holidaze’s Fervor. I don’t tell those working or drinking: ‘friends are playing Saturday Night Live’ unless I know the barkeeper which implies a familiarity with my life.. I like feeling reactions of people who are excited. I consider this community. |
